Mission: The mission of East Village Youth Program is to encourage and prepare primarily low-income, Latino youth for a college education. EVYP further strives to support these youth as they pursue their college degrees and enter professional careers.
Programs: College program: services include scholarships, counceling, workshops, career readiness and support, and community service.
high school program: services include academic support, computer technology classes, a summer writing program, workshops, cultural enrichment, recreation and college transition preparation.
outreach: services include workshops and seminars for students and parents on high school and college choice, financing college; attendance at fairs and report card pick up days; educational handouts for community members; and informational materials on evyp services.
other activities include alumni, parent, summer, and mentoring programs and community and school partnerships
