Mission: The east loop improvement district (cid)'s mission is to provide any services and improvements authorized under the cid act, including without limitation furthering economic development, enhancing public safety, and maintaining and improving infrastructure within that portion of the city of st. Louis, missouri, that is located within the cid's boundaries.
Programs: Working in conjunction with the university city loop special business district, the east loop cid funded a variety of promotion and marketing activities including the loop ice carnival, printing of the loop brochure and advertising in regional publications such as the convention and visitors guide. Board members began planning/negotiations for an additional parking lot to serve businesses east of hamilton ave.
