Mission: The mission of early learning indiana is to ensure the highest level of early care and education for children in indiana. Early learning indiana provides leadership, advocacy and early childhood education services to continually improve the early learning landscape in indiana. We adhere to four guiding initiatives: - we operate high-quality child care centers. - we help families find quality child care. - we partner with teachers and providers to improve program quality. - we advocate for greater access to early educational opportunities for all hoosier families.
Programs: Day early learning centers : eli manages ten early learning centers in marion and hendricks counties that provide high-quality early care and education to more than 1,300 children from infant to six years old. Eli provides a strong curriculum based on the indiana department of education's foundations of academic standards which prepares children for success in school. The centers meet or exceed the highest standards for childcare in indiana and are accredited by the national association for the education of young children and most centers have achieved a level 4 on indiana's paths to quality rating scale. Revenue includes service fees net of tuition assistance and discounts of $904,654.
partnerships for early learners and child care answers: partnerships for early learners (pel) increases access and quality of early childhood programming across indiana. With the generous support of the indiana family and social services administration and the lilly endowment, pel aims to ensure that 75% of indiana's children in child care or preschool are connected with a high-quality program and that their families are engaged and supported. With a focus on the central part of the state, child care answers (cca) is contracted to serve as one of nine child care resource and referral agencies in indiana. Cca works with families, early-childhood educators and the community at large to address many types of early childhood issues.
