I have been a prayer partner for two different students at Eagle Wings. As such, I have witnessed many of the interactions between the teachers and students. They are committed to excellence and to sharing Christ's love with each student. There is a wonderful balance of pushing the student to reach their best, holding them accountable to the acceptable behaviors in the school, and loving them fiercely. There is no skating through unnoticed as is the case in so many classrooms in this city right now! If you want committed professionals who truly care about each child's best in all areas of their life, this is your school!

I have been involved with Eagle Wings Academy for approximately 3 years. Recently I came on board as their Activities Planner. I would recommend this school to anyone. They care deeply for each and every student and their families. The Teachers and staff, and numerous regular volunteers, all work tremendously hard to make sure that the students are receiving a high quality education as well as life skills they will need both in school and in their daily lives. As their Activities Planner I can certainly vouch for the numerous and terrific field trips and Job Shadow opportunities provided! A great school that is definitely worth checking out!

I actually started volunteering the first year of EWA's existence. 10 years ago and so many changes! The school has changed to accommodate the ever changing world, except in one very important way. The goal has always been to tell the children about our awesome God and how to live their lives to bring honor to Him. The classes are small and very personal. The children are taught the "required" subjects and so very much more. They are tested and the results have been very positive. They learn how to work together as team mates and problem solve, how to help others and how to cope with situations in their lives. I have been so blessed by my involvement in EWA. We all have "situations" in our lives.
