The Museum collects historical items for the small communities of Austin, Odin, Costello, Wharton, and Keating Summit, Pennsylvania. It is located in rural, southern Potter County, Pennsylvania. There is no charge to tour the museum. One of the programs it offers free of charge is a summer, classical movie program for children (adults are welcome to attend also). Free refreshments are also provided. Each year the museum undertakes a community beautification project and also awards a $300 dollar scholarship from the money received from its major fundraiser dinner auction.
