Mission: 1) provide recognition to healthcare providers and scientists who make significant contributions in the area of the diagnosis and treatment of dyslipidemia. 2) carry out research related to the management of dyslipidemia to further patient care and cvd risk reduction. 3) assist patients with significant or severe dyslipidemia in the diagnosis and management of their condition in order to prevent the premature heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, neuropathy, eye disease, and recurrent pancreatitus that may occur with these conditions. 4) provide patients with dyslipidemia and their healthcare providers with education about the diagnosis and management of dyslipidemias through a website, by direct mailing, or with educational programs. 5) provide patients with dyslipidemia and their healthcare providers with information about experts on dyslipidemias in their geographic area.
