Mission: Drokpa partners with pastoral communities in the himalaya and central asia to implement grassroots development and catalyze social entrepreneurship using appropriate tools and replicable strategies.
Programs: Drokpa is run on a purely volunteer basis so we only have program expenses and associated administrative costs, which are kept to a minimum. Drokpa has since 1998 channeled over $300,000 to projects throughout the himalaya. We support scholarships for tibetan medicine clinics and boarding schools in remote mustang and dolpa districts of nepal as well as provide institutional support to the himalayan amchi association.
