Mission: Dream Come True (DCT) Angels – is a non-profit organization focused on revitalizing communities through citizen engagement and providing affordable housing options. Founded in 2014, DCT Angels embarked on a mission to ensure that all people interested in becoming homeowner's and current homeowner’s receive the essential education, counseling and knowledge they needed to secure and maintain quality affordable housing. The organization meets its mission by providing personal financial planning, housing and credit counseling, foreclosure prevention, emergency mortgage relief through one on one client advising.
Results: Dream Come True Angels Inc. provides accessibility upgrades for low-income elderly and/or disabled residents so that they may remain in their homes or return from institutional care. Annually, DCT Angels has provides accessibility modifications for nearly 10 Floridian, including wheelchair ramps and lifts, stair glides, handrails, grab bars, and ADA compliant bathrooms.
Target demographics: Dream Come True Angels inc has provided critical home repairs for low-income Floridian Our projects consist of major repairs for residents who do not have the resources to fix pre-existing conditions, perform routine maintenance, and/or rebuild after disasters. We conduct home assessments and develop scopes of work that prioritize the health and safety of the home and its residents.
