Mission: The mission of encinitas 101 mainstreet is to improve and preserve a desirable historic downtown encinitas that provides an exceptional atmosphere for the community and its visitors.
Programs: -- promoted e101 members while bringing tens of thousands of people into the downtown to attend events like taste of mainstreet, street fairs, classic car cruise nights, visits with santa --received grant funding from the city of encinitas and the county of san diego to improve the walkability and beautification of downtown encinitas. E101 is in the late stages of installing a colorful, painted crosswalk in the middle of town. -- a grant from the county of san diego was given to create a comprehensive wayfinding package for downtown.
