Mission: To provide an exceptional liberal arts education in a creative, inclusive, and collaborative community where faculty and staff work closely with undergraduate and graduate studuents preparing them for lives rooted in intellectual inquiry, ethical values, and a commitment to engage as leaders and responsible citizens in the world.
Programs: Instructional services: doane provides instructional services through undergratuate, pre-professional, graduate and advanced degrees through its school of arts and sciences and school of graduate and professional studies. During academic year 2014-2015, the school of arts and sciences enrolled 1,067 students with a student-faculty ratio of 9:1. The school of graduate and professional studies enrolled 646 undergraduate students and 1,099 graduate students. During the year doane awarded 851 degrees, 475 undergraduate and 376 graduate students.
student services: includes admissions, registrar, student health, counseling, financial aid, career development, sports & recreation, and student leadership.
auxiliary enterprises: the college residence halls, campus activity center, and bookstore are the primary auxiliary enterprises serving the campus. Six residence halls provide housing for 717 crete campus students.
other program services academic support: includes the college library, technology services, academic dean's office and support for all academic divisions.
