Mission: Dmm global foundation (the organization) was formed for the purpose of advancing global knowledge and dialogue in the field of molecular medicine and its infulence on global health.
Programs: The dmm global conference network is a collection of international scientific research meetings and conferences which focus on the intersection of cutting edge advances in the field of molecular medicine. The focus of the meetings and conferences is to discuss converging principles and molecular pathways being uncovered for diseases in cardiac, neuromuscular and central nervous systems and related biotechnology and global health issues.
the dmm global health initiative program was formed by the organization as a repsonse to the high rate of unique and rare cariovascular diseases occuring in children and adolescents in several developing nations. Through the initiative the organization will attempt to: (1) identify those locations where childhood cardiovascular disease is most prevalent ("hot spots"); (2) recruit highly motivated and capable young physicians ("trainees") with an interest in acquiring scientific expertise in the area; (3) develop a framework that includes, among other things, the scope of research, the plan for joint publication of the research results, and financial support for the visiting trainees.
