Mission: The specific mission of this organization is to provide food, clothing, and gifts for qualified children and senior citizens from disadvantaged and low income families and communities within the dixon unified school district region of the state of california during the latter part of december of each year.
Programs: The board of directors of the dixon toys for tots asks donors to consider becoming a santa's helper for toys for tots and to help underwrite the organization's family food and senior's clothing program which takes place each holiday season. Donations of $500 or more to the dixon toys for tots help support a food certificate or a senior citizen package for a family this year. The community support also helps underwrite another toys for tots season, of bikes, clothes, toys, food whereby dixon residents demonstrating caring again as they have been doing for many years. During 2017, with the help of the above underwriters, more than five hundred families and over one hundred seniors were served, on a needs basis, including food certificates and senior safety kits, in addition to bicycles, clothing, toys and warm coats for disadvantaged children.
