Mission: Dia's mission is to improve the lives of immigrant persons with disabilities living in the twin cities. Dia supports disabled immigrants and their career development through the provision of information, referrals, education regarding rights, peer support, and guidance in navigating through complex barriers to receiving supports, services and and jobs
Programs: Employment services: dia offers refugee employment services approved by minnesota department of human services. Dia was slotted to serve 35 clients for the 2011 fiscal year and exceeded that by placing 36 clients enrolled with dia for 2010. Dia placed 15 low skilled clients in full time employment throughout the twin cities area for fiscal year 2011.
