Mission: Whereas patient and family education is readily available for persons facing cancer or heart disease or diabetes, the same is not true for chronic mental illnesses. Directions in Education, Training and Consultation exists to help fill this gap. Our curriculum is "Pebbles in the Pond: Living with Chronic Neurobiological Disorders."
Our educational approach bridges such services as clinical case management and medication services.
The "Pebbles" approach reduces stigma, leads persons to recovery and wellness strategies and restores HOPE.
