Programs: Research project "military suicide research consortium" persons suffering from major mental illnesses are at elevated risk of suicide-related behaviors. Repeated deployments to the middle east have resulted in many military personnel having symptoms of ptsd or other psychological problems. The goals of this study are to produce new scientific knowledge about suicidal behavior in the military that will improve mental health outcomes for military personnel, use research methods and analyses.
