Wonderful! I go to drawing classes every day after school. Every Thursday at 3 we walk to the gallery and learn perspective, proportion, and cartoons. Our teacher's name is Sean.

The Denver Art Society is a wonderful place to see local art! I bought paintings and handmade cards from the Homeless Art exhibit last December's First Friday artwalk. This was a great idea that helped some talented people create art and earn 100% of the proceeds. Even 6 and 7 year old kids made art that sold! Sean, the founder and CEO, is a remarkable person with energy, focus and talent. I also met the kids in one of his classes in Denver. They really looked up to him and seemed to appreciate the free art lessons. Yea for "Art for All" in Denver!

I've been a volunteer with the Denver Art Society since October. I've volunteered for First Friday events and done canvassing/fundraising work. DAS is AWESOME!

The Denver Art Society is a wonderful organization. It is trying to achieve so many wonderful things (free art education, ending artlessness, and providing a free space for artists to show their works). My only concern is that the Denver Art Society is trying to achieve too many things at once... or, more constructively, it should be doing all these great things but they should start smaller. Perhaps ending artlessness on Santa Fe, or free art education for a handful of kids. An organization should focus its energy on issues that deal with problems locally before it strives to achieve larger goals. Keep rockin... I know you're gonna make it happen!

I volunteered with Denver Art Society in November for their homeless art exhibit. It was a very nice evening full of goodwill and compassion. I look forward to the second one this fall with bells on. If you ever need another volunteer for anything, I am eager and ready! Thanks again guys!

I was just in this morning to see Jen Leong's exhibit. I really love what this place does to encourage local artists and give support to make it easier for people to create great art. I donated $20 to give a canvas to a young art student and encourage everyone to do the same - if we all chip in we can make a real, lasting difference in the Arts District.

Denver Art Society is an amazing, inspiring organization making major strides toward providing a stronger art community. Leading the way in the global art movement, DAS offers citizens a free, uncensored catalog of original, affordable Denver art as well as providing free art education to all interested. A great organization with great ideas taking leaps and bounds to end artlessness and provide art to all!!

I'm continually rewarded by my experiences with Denver Art Society's community art projects. My experiences in their classrooms have given me a newfound respect for the importance of art in our neighborhood. We all felt like Denver art was taken to a new level with last November's homeless art exhibit.

Art for the homeless was a great exhibit that helped get the paintbrush in the hands of many less fortunate; of which many created outstanding works of art. The idea is beyond novel and is only one chapter in the growing idea to put more creativity in the hands of everyone.

Awesome organization! Bought a few pieces of art from them last fall. Their volunteers are all very nice and I think the work they do means a lot to the artists
