Mission: Acting as an educational and informational resource about domestic violence to member domestic violence agencies and the community.
Programs: Dcadv's programming is dynamic, responsive and achored in the commitment to prevent and end intimate partner violence. Each year the organization provides training and technical assitance to domestic violence service providers, law enforcement, the courts, medical personnel, therapists and educators. This training is designed to empower individuals and institutions to respond to domestic violence with a trauma-informed approach. Dcadv engages in advocacy to promote public policy that enhances the safety of domestic violence victims. Dcadv coordinates the economic empowerment project and the delware men's education network (men), a statewide network of campus, military and community-based partners who work in collaboration as they strive to engage men in sexual and domestic violence prevention. Dcadv works collaboratively with the women empowered against violence everywhere, a domestic violence survivors group, and the women of color taskforce.
