Mission: The mission of daytop village of new jersey, inc. Is to provide highly effective and accessible behavioral health services, restoring hope and improving the quality of life for persons served, their families and our communities. Daytop new jersey has a long and successful history of meeting the needs of adolescents, adults and families struggling with the disease of addiction and its effects by providing a continuum of treatment services which include residential treatment for adolescents, outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults, recovery-based day school for students in grades 6-12, and a halfway house for adult women.
Programs: Provide drug rehabilitation & counseling services to clients in both an outpatient setting or residential treatment setting. Daytop village of new jersey, inc. (daytop) provides compassionate, personalized and evidence based substance use and mental health outpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults. Individual, group and family counseling is provided, in addition to comprehensive assessments and psychiatric treatment. Daytop also provides residential, substance use treatment for adolescent boys and girls ages 12-18 in two locations, mendham and pittsgrove, nj. Daytops treatment program is licensed, accredited and evidence based. All services are delivered by a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of professionals within the context of a positive peer-based social learning model.
new jersey's first and only private recovery high school providing a supportive educational alternative for middle school and high school aged students. Daytop encompasses a non-sectarian, licensed, special education school providing an alternative educational experience for students in grades 7-12 who experience social, emotional, behavioral or substance use challenges that impact their academic achievement. Providing both self-contained and mainstreamed academic programs, each student receives a customized academic program to meet his or her strengths, needs and learning styles.
