Last year I applied for the Forum for Educational Options Scholarship. I was a senior in high school about to start college. My mom who happens to be a single mom did not have enough financial resources to send me to college with. When I received an email from the people from the Forum for Educational Options that I was one of the recipients of their scholarship, I was so happy. It was I new beginning for me, they increased my chances of going to college. I'm a first generation student so you'll should know how I felt. This is my 2nd semester in the University of Toledo. I'm majoring in Bachelor's in Science and Nursing (BSN) and I hope to become a Nurse Practitioner in the future. The Forum for Educational Options made my dream, a reality.
