Mission: The foundation, created to honor the memory of david gorczyca, was created to benefit people in need. The foundation makes grants to benefit families whose lives have been recently affected by tragedy. Through these grants the foundation seeks to further david gorczyca's generousity of spirit and encourage others to live their lives to benefit those less fortunate.
Programs: In 2011 the foundation continued their mission by making disbursements to two families that suffered recently to tragic losses. In 2011 the foundation distributed 15,000 to the chiramonte children's fund for their future college education funds after losing both parents in a relatively short time. The final distribution in 2011 was in the amount of 1,000 to jamie grasso the wife of anthony grasso who died at the age of 52, of cancer, leaving behind his wife and four children. The money is to be used to help pay off medical bills and set up a fund for his children's future college education.
