Mission: The d k kim cambodia foundation ("the organization") is a us non-profit organization formed for the purpose of increasing educational opportunities among the citizens of the kingdom of cambodia ("cambodia") the core mission of the organization is to provide a sustainable learning community in literacy and appropriate core competencies. The organization is committed to instilling in each student a desire to learn, to take appropriate risks, and to accept challenges. The organization is further committed to developing students in cambodia who are resilient and adaptable, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and disposition to continue their education and become responsible and compassionate citizens of cambodia.
Programs: In an effort to provide students with access to higher education, especially to those with insufficient resources, the foundation has also created an initiative to provide educational and financial assistance to cambodian students over a ten-year period. The foundation has established the foundation scholarship and financial aid program to assist cambodian students by offering scholarship awards to assist with their educational expenses. The foundation is committed to aiding low income students with great financial need, students whose needs are based on extenuating circumstances, students with temporary but acute needs, and independent students who cannot expect to receive assistance from parents, guardians, or other sources.
