the member services program has provided the following programs: a) advocacy to support the state of connecticut's human services network, including residential, vocational, and support programs for people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse issues through public policy and public relations initiatives; b) education and training to provide training and technical assistance to community providers; c) networking through forums and meeting opportunities to allow members to discuss best practices and address issues affecting community providers; d) industry surveys and benchmarking for the community provider industry in connecticut.
the case management program administers the case management grant for six sub-contractor agencies that provide direct support to individuals with mental illness.
