Causes: Homeless & Housing
Mission: Our mission is to promote positive attitudes and action that ensure respect, acceptance, and equal opportuniy for all people.
Programs: A. In fy 2016-2017 we provided fair housing and tenant/landlord mediation services to the cities of carlsbad, el cajon, la mesa, santee, national city, chula vista b. We had one-to-one counseling with over 1450 clients and served several hundreds more through workshops and events. C. Csa worked with san diego school district and cajon valley charter school, eje academies for youth mentoring. D. Csa held educational events on human trafficking at 5 schools, 3 churches, 4 rotary clubs. E. We received a federal grant for capacity building to expand our services to include housing testing and enforcement and provided this for the entire region of san diego. F. We participated on a federal level with world without exploitation to advocate for human trafficking legislation with the agencys labor trafficking survivorg. We expanded our services in the city of chula vista with the rayo center h. We expanded our outreach services in the entire region of san diego to encourage the reporting of fair housing discriminaton violations.
