Mission: To facilitate a network of individuals, families, govtl and civic orgizations, businesses churches, and social agencies to make a difference by helping marginalized and hurting people meet practical needs through relationship-based care to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.
Programs: Faith housing is a crosswind outreach program providing housig to homeless displaced women and children who dont qualify for other means of housing. We also provide housing and assist with job procuremet in addition to providing financial, spiritual and psychological counseling. This program, administered with a relationship-based approach and strict guidelines, is not a handout but rather a hand up offering a return to an independent life, usually within a 6 month period. Crosswind also assists walk in homeless and hurting individuals at our offices. We assist them with rent, housing deposits, utility deposits, counseling services, rehabilition resources, job resources, clothing, job, etc.
crosswinds outreach strategy can best be visualized through the grouping of specific ministry objectives with measurable goals within the community that touch the physical and spiritual needs of people from all walks of life. Genuine relationships develop which become encouragements to christians and a path for people to receive the best gift we have to offer. . . A relationship with jesus christ.
crosswind provides a nuturing environment and ministerial services for outreach team members, families. And friends of crosswind and provide training for team members in order for them to carry out the organizations goals.
