Naida at Crossing Guardians made it possible for our family to adopt our beloved rescue from Tijuana, sweet Olive. Olive faced and overcame horrendous abuse and sustained life threatening injuries. If it had not been for this foundation, in particular Naida, Olive surely would not have survived. Now fully healed, Olive is the apple of our families eye. She is not only a survivor, she is absolutely thriving! I am forever grateful to Naida and Crossing Guardians for their dedication and care of our dear, sweet Olive .

Naida and Crossing Guardians has renewed my faith in humanity. Ive known her amazing work for a long time. She takes the hardest cases and heals them with whatever it takes ; abandoned homeless forgotten lives near the border in Mexico. She sends updates ongoing with the tranformation of these dogs found near death. She is an angel on earth.
i have known Nadia through rescue for years. This is my favorite rescue. They do amazing things and never give up. Nadia works and handles all this. Although I am on a fixed income, I have been donating to Crossing Guardians for quite some time. I even have them as my favorite charity on my PayPal account because I believe in Naida and her volunteers. Naida is the most dedicated rescuers there is, saving so many tragic animals in some of the worst situations.
Crossing Guardians is incredible. Filling a space in the rescue world that no one else has stepped into, Naida and her crew help the sick and injured animals homelessly roaming the US/Mexico border. They work non stop to care for and heal and place the never ending flow of animals, mostly dogs, who are turned out in a community that does not value animals. Their tireless work year after year with so little in the way of resources is nothing short of miraculous. They fully deserve your donations and your support in every way. I cannot say enough about Crossing Guardians. What an amazing rescue organization! They have brought so many animals back from the brink of death, found foster homes for them, and, ultimately, forever homes. I'm delighted to say that we adopted a beautiful French bulldog from them who undoubtedly would have been bred to the point of exhaustion or death otherwise. Thank goodness she was saved. I lost my lab and wanted another big dog in my family. I was looking for month and I came across this pit/lab mix that was left behind to fend for herself after taking her new born babies... When she was rescued she looked more like a weimereiner than anything and I was interested. Once she gained weight and got her health back you can see the Pitbull in her. We got her home and she has been the funniest and most loving soul I've had. I thought I that in my life already, but I lucked out with this girl she is just an awesome addition. Crossing Guardian kept in touch with me and provided updates till the day I got her. They drove all the way from San Diego to L.A. to ensure she was going into a good home. I keep in touch with providing updates of my goofy gal. This rescue takes in so many abused, neglected and injured souls and mends them back together, that is no small feat. I am thankful for having a guardian watching out for our souls on the border...
I continue to be amazed at the dedication to rescuing the absolute neediest and the commitment and care to the animals they cross. Those they rescue often have suffered so horrifically as to appear beyond hope, and yet they continue to go above and beyond to heal them. It is my privilege to support this amazing nonprofit...As a long-term rescuer, this is an often unbearable roller coaster ride, and Nadia and her folks keep keeping on...
