Mission: Crmc children's center ("center") is a public benefit not-for-profit corporation and a subsidiary of cookeville regional medical center ("crmc"). The center's primary purpose and mission is to provide a quality early-childhood program at competitive prices to employees of crmc. Secondarily, crmc children's center recognizes the public's need for quality child care and will offer a percentage of the open positions to the community. Crmc children's center will insure that top quality child care is offered including developmentally appropriate curriculums, high nutritional standards, a sanitary environment, social and emotional enrichment and frequent parent communications.
Programs: Crmc children's center dissolved effective december 31, 2016. All assets were transferred to its parent, cookeville regional medical center, an organization exempt from taxation as a governmental unit under internal revenue code section 115 (see schedule n). From july 1, 2016 through december 31, 2016, crmc children's center offered several program options. - an infant program serving children ages 6 weeks to one year. - a toddler program serving children 12 months to 36 months. - a pre-school program serving children 3 to 5 years. Full time care was offered monday through friday from 6:15 am until 5:30 pm for non-crmc employees and until 6:00 pm for crmc employees. All programs offered care provided by skilled child care professionals, nutritionally balanced meals, and age appropriate activities. Parents can also rest assured that medical services are available nearby if they are needed. Crmc children's center ensured the following for community children of working parents:-daily information concerning the child's activities-parent-teacher conferences when necessary-frequent, positive, and warm interactions among the adults and children-highly trained teachers-enrichment opportunities-well-designed, age-appropriate play areas-a healthy and safe environment for children-regular communication with parents-effective administration-ongoing, systematic evaluations
