It is an avenue for citizens to get information to law enforcement anonymously. Crime stoppers works diligently to educate, engage, and empower citizens in the efforts of reducing and fighting crime. Crime stoppers highlights unsolved cases on television, radio, and social media in the hopes someone will come forward with an anonymous tip to help solve these cases. If that information helps lead to an arrest, tipsters are eligible for a cash reward.
Programs: Crime stoppers is an avenue for citizens to get information to law enforcement anonymously. 2016 tip statistics: 354 anonymous tips called in, 21 tips led to arrests, 129 were closed as not useful.
