Love volunteering with Creegan canine rescue! They are the best rescue for dogs and have been great dogs like this cute dog. These guys really love dogs and help them so much by taking them out of the shelter and finding them forever homes! When they’re sick, they make them feel a lot better and take care of all their vet needs and it’s so nice to see somebody care as much as they do. It’s really fun to volunteer events with them and they are so good at making the events really fun and different!
Do you know those bumper stickers that ask, "Who rescued who?" Well, I can tell you firsthand that my amazing rescue dog, Darwin, has absolutely rescued me and brought me out of my pandemic depression! I was so fortunate to adopt him from Creegan Canine Rescue Inc after he arrived from an Alabama shelter at around 10 weeks old. Darwin has gone through extensive training with me and we are a therapy dog team. Before Creegan, he was scheduled to be euthanized the next work day. Without the tireless effort, exhausting work, and financial drain; my rescue dog would not be here.
I have volunteered with Creegan Canine Rescue Inc for many years. I have firsthand witnessed Melissa take in a less than day old litter of 3 newborn pups that were thrown in the trash can and without a mother to be found. Creegan Canine had to bottle feed 3 newborn pups, stimulate them with rubs and warm cloths, and care to them 24/7. This type of dedication often goes overlooked because there is no publicity when you are a small rescue organization. I have witnessed the local shelter call Creegan Canine to pick up a mother dog and her 4 newborn pups by the end of the day or they would be euthanized. Melissa never says no and jumped in the car immediately to rescue them. This rescue organization is dedicated to rehabilitating and rehoming dogs and puppies. They never say "No." to an animal in need.
Creegan Canine Rescue is an absolutely incredible organization. They go out of their way to not only find these dogs, but to advertise, and help them get to their forever homes. They are very committed, as they are always at the Winter Garden PetSmart.
I started volunteering about a year ago, looking for graduation hours, but it has turned into an enjoyable way to spend my Sunday’s, and I look forward to it every week, and it is always a pleasure to help out! They really are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and it definitely rubs off on the dogs! If you haven’t checked them out already, feel free to go to their Instagram @creegank9rescue!
I recently adopted a rescue pup from Creegan Canine Rescue. Linus is my new best friend!! The whole process was straightforward from start to finish. I will definitely adopt from them again when I’m ready for pup #2!
Creegan truly cares about the animals they rescue and the people they place them with. They take in so many dogs that are days away from being euthanized. I can’t say enough good things about them!
I have worked with the rescue for a few months now and they are the most understanding and loving people to be with dogs. They are full on animal people and love dogs with a passion. They are super supportive towards the people who adopt and the dogs themselves. The whole process for adoption is super easy and understanding and they take care of anyone who adopts and fosters. They are such great people
I’ve been volunteering with this rescue since it was first formed in 2013 and it’s become a key part of my life. I have friends and family that work with the rescue and i couldn’t ask for a better group of people to run an organization. This rescue is deserving of everything you have to offer as it does not get enough appreciation or recognition for what it does, flying puppies down to Florida from Alabama and saving as many dogs as they do year long, holding events rain or shine.
I have volunteered with this rescue since 2013. They treat their volunteers really well and their dogs. I go to Petsmart to help the dogs get adopted and it’s fun because we get to make people and the puppies really happy. Sometimes it’s sad when they don’t get homes and the rescue gives them a pup cup and toys and treats and says you will get adopted soon to the dog. It’s really sweet to be a part of helping dogs and I get hours for school too.
I worth with the creegan people as one of their vets and see first hand how much time and effort and money they invest in each of their dogs. When they don’t have donations, they pay everything out of their own pockets for every dog they bring to us. It is nice to see rescues like this doing God’s work.
Creegan is a fantastic rescue group! Its always a joy to see them at Petsmart on the weekends!! They really do go above and beyond for all the dogs and puppies they rescue from bad situations.
Love this group! I have trained several puppies that have been adopted out from them. They have a great passion for what they do and it truly shows.
Cregan is an amazing rescue. I have watched them grow and develop into such an impactful rescue group. You can see the passion and devotion they have for pets in every interaction with them.
I have sat on the board with these amazing human beings since 2020 and I am so glad to be a part of the team. We all work very hard and get paid in puppy kisses. Glad to help with all of the mailings and paperwork and posting for the rescue as their secretary.
I adopted with these guys and my little Zoe is the best friend I could ask for. Would def recommend them to anyone looking for a dog.
