Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving the goal of living in their community of choice with the necessary support
Programs: Provides community based supported living services to approximately 50 clients who have a developmental disability. They live in approximately 20 different locations throughout the st. Louis metro area. All funding for services is provided by medicaid (mo healthnet) and oversight is provided by the missouri department of mental health and st. Louis regional center. The clients are supported in living the life that they envision for themselves. They are given support with whatever needs they may have, from tasks of daily living to supported employment,transportation and community activities.
