Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Providing positive experiences and building an appreciation for music and the arts as well as a firm start in establishing basic life-skills throughout our community.
Results: Programs have provided great results for the past 3+ years having qualified professionals volunteer to teach the classes in their skilled field. An advisory board was begun this year to see how CARE can become self sustaining (outside of Emanuel UM Church) and also expand to new facilities that can accomidate the demand.
Target demographics: Low-income children in the Pittsburgh area in grades pre-K through 8.
