Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention
Mission: Our mission is to partner with parents and the community to develop and sustain healthy, responsible youth.
Programs: Other: community enrichment and engagement: participation and hosting of numerous community meetings, participation in public outreach, on-line and press educational publications, and awareness campaigns.
student -family support services: no-cost counseling and mentor support programs offered to 89 students and parents to provide education, family support, and behavioral intervention for issues related to substance abuse, smoking cessation, family disruption, depression, academic/behavioral problems, anger management, or related issues.
student enrichment: age-appropriate on-campus student enrichment programs developed for pre-kinder through high school, to build life-skills related to good decision making. 1,782 students served in this program annually.
