I have two children currently at Corn Bible Academy. My wife and I are alumni, and our kids make the 5th generation in our family to attend this school. A significant factor in our decision to move back to the western Oklahoma area was to provide our kids with the opportunity to attend CBA.
CBA is not only a Christian school, it is a Christian community. The environment for spiritual and intellectual growth for those attending CBA is exceptional. The academic rigor in the classes provides solid footing for progress to the university level. The wide range of extracurricular activities provides students with opportunities to grow and stretch as they learn lessons necessary for success as an independent adult.
The daily rhythms of bible instruction and community worship provide an opportunity for the formation of a solid Christian worldview, the practice of vibrant faith, and the beginning of a lifetime pursuit of Christ.
Teachers care in a way that can only be explained by them choosing to live out their faith and show the love of Jesus through their careers. They believe in what they are doing, and genuinely care about the success and well-being of their students.
The administration has navigated the logistics nightmare that is Covid-19 with exceptional competence. Competing priorities, confusing regulatory environments, and rapidly changing social dynamics were all navigated with wisdom.
I am glad my kids are at CBA.
CBA has had a huge impact on not only my life, but that of my family as well. It helped to prepare me for my college classes and equip me to meet ethical challenges during my college years and beyond. Challenges from teachers during chapel still echo in my thoughts. Now, we have the privilege of sending our children to CBA to pass on the legacy and Christian values that are so needed in our world today!
Our 2 oldest boys travel 55 miles one way to attend Corn Bible Academy! It seems extreme, but we believe that the extreme measures are the best choice for our kids to have a solid, Bible based education. I am confident that they are receiving above average knowledge,
laced with God’s word surrounded by people who love them, love their profession and most importantly love Jesus. I cannot think of a better way to bring up our kids.
As an occasional volunteer for events I’ve had the chance to observe CBA for 11 years. My wife is a CBA graduate and as we considered where we wanted to raise our family access to Christian education was a top priority. As I have observed our choice has been affirmed that western Oklahoma and CBA is a great place for us. For this reason we have supported CBA financially even before we had kids. The administration is fiscally responsible and the teachers make the school what it is by exemplifying Christ in their daily teaching and serving of students.
We look forward to the new building being completed in Clinton where more families will be able to experience the blessing that CBA has been to so many.
As committed disciples of Christ, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to send our children to Corn Bible Academy (CBA). We are fully convinced that that the staff is whole heartedly invested in joining us as we teach, train & develop the next generation of disciples of Christ. We are so blessed, knowing that the foundations of our faith, from Genesis to Revelation will be reinforced.
We feel that the education they will receive is top-notch, will equip them for college & whatever the future may bring.
Corn Bible Academy has been a part of my history for the better part of 70 years. My parents both attended there, I meet my wife there, my father-in-law was a teacher, her siblings and my brother all attended. My roots personally run deep because of the time I spent there. As mentioned, I found the love of my life there, developed friendships that are still strong fifty years later. I was a dorm student at the age of 16 where I learned what it was like to be away from my parents and develop leadership roles that influenced my life to this day. Although I probably wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer, At CBA I received the Christian Education that I wouldn’t have in the public school. CBA faculty helped develop untapped talent and skills that I have used daily throughout life.
Through the years my wife and I have supported CBA financially in whatever way possible. We're proud to be a part of the GROW CBA campaign from the beginning. We have a deep desire to see the new school finished, occupied and training students to be followers of Jesus. I’ve been truly blessed that I am physically able to volunteer the few talents I have to work around the new facility when needed.
It is an honor to say I'm a graduate, donor and board member of CBA. It’s a blessing to see a school that has the desire in this day and time that truly seeks to have students in the classrooms to provide a high-quality Christian Education and also excels in academics and athletics.
CBA is one of the greatest assets we had as we raised our 4 children. The combination of WOCS for the elementary years and then CBA for junior high and high school made an awesome package to help us instill our values into our children’s lives. Our children are now in their 20’s and 30’s and have made these values their own. They also succeeded academically in college and are now successful in their careers.
Since our children are the fourth generation from our family to graduate from CBA we had a familiarity with the school and it did not disappoint. From being on the Board in the past I know the school is a good investment and uses their funds efficiently. We believed this so passionately that we were one of the first major donors to the GrowCBA campaign. We are excited how this move will reposition the school for growth in the near future so that more families can be blessed by CBA as we were.
I am a graduate of CBA and am so grateful for the influence it had on my life and continues to have on the lives of its students. The team of caring teachers and staff provide exceptional instruction, emphasizing a Christ-centered education in every area of study. CBA provides the kind of “fertile soil” students need to grow in a relationship with Christ. The lessons I learned as a student at CBA have had a lasting impact on my life. Giving to CBA ensures that the next generation of students are also impacted to become Godly men and women.
CBA has been both a God-send and an answer to prayer for our family. After the passing of my husband in 2018, it was evident that we would not be able to continue our Christian homeschool endeavors. After much prayer, I feel the Lord led our family straight to CBA. We chose to move 1.5 hours from our hometown solely for the opportunity to attend the school. My oldest loves attending CBA. He is receiving an exceptional education in academics. He is involved in extra-curricular activities that build team work, sportsmanship and valuable skills. My son is also receiving wonderful instruction in the Word of God and how to apply the principals found within to his daily life. The teachers and staff are such a wonderful group of individuals set on pouring into the lives of each child, and it shows. It’s not just a job for them. It’s their ministry. I feel I have found a place that is coming along side me in the effort to raise my boys in the fear and admonition of the Lord and I couldn’t be more pleased. My youngest is excited to start his journey as a 7th grader at CBA this coming school year. Upon graduation, I know my boys will not only be equipped for college, but for life! Thank you, CBA.
Corn Bible Academy has been a life changing and refreshing choice for our family. Our two oldest sons (grades 7 and 10) made the decision to attend CBA after touring the school and spending a day at school with future classmates. The acceptance they felt from other students was instant and they could see the genuine interest of the teachers. They felt welcome and wanted. Instead of settling for minimum standards in school, my children are motivating themselves to be excellent in different areas and to take on new challenges. They have gone from just "existing" at school to truly participating and enjoying their day. This new positive and engaged attitude is evident at home and at church as well. I attribute this to the favorable environment at CBA. Students are not only encouraged to do and be their best, but are celebrated for success in all areas - - music, academics and athletics. The focus at CBA is not just on test scores or athletic achievement, but rather on producing well rounded, confident young men and women equipped with the knowledge, skill and faith to be successful adults. Regular times of prayer, small groups, chapel, and in depth study of the Bible and Christian world view are part of every day at CBA, in addition to excellent academic instruction and extracurricular activities. The Bible is incorporated into the curriculum and is applied to current events and class discussion. The sacrifice of tuition and travel for our sons to attend CBA has come with great reward. I don't know of anywhere else in western oklahoma that you can get the level of instruction, personal attention and freedom of faith that is found at CBA. It is truly an investment in the future.
My story with CBA started nearly fifty years ago. As a youngster, we hosted the CBA choir at our church and not only did the kids sing, they shared their testimonies and stories with the congregation. I attended the school in the late 70's and graduated in 1980. I remember discussing career plans with a classmate during my senior year and I said that my goal was just to get a good enough job so I could be generous and contribute to places like CBA. God blessed me and I have been able to do just that. The supporters of CBA are very dedicated and loyal to the cause. I have seen many give and give, time and money over and over. We know that it takes the donations to keep the school going and growing. Without any financial support from our taxes, it all comes from donors and tuition. If tuition gets too high, the school will loose students that can't afford it. This is why donations are so vitally important. My goal is to keep giving monthly throughout my career and into my retirement. CBA shaped my life and continues to shape the lives of young people. This is one of the best causes that needs our support.
Many people don't realize Christian schools don't receive state or federal money for their budgets. Corn Bible Academy (CBA) runs on donations, fundraisers, and tuition. For several years, I have committed to monthly pledges. I want my money to support a place that aligns with my belief system. I feel there is no better use of my donations than to help sustain CBA. I appreciate those who sacrificed to start CBA close to 120 years ago, those who have fostered it along the way, and those who had the relocation vision to help CBA reach even more families.
As a parent, the tuition I've paid for my son (Class of 2022) has been money well spent. His education is top rate and he will be prepared with both classroom and Biblical knowledge.
Corn Bible Academy played a massive role in helping me reach where I am today. The teachers truly care for their students and incorporate faith into every class. The small size of the school naturally encourages students to be invested in the lives of their peers and to be involved in most all of the activities offered by CBA, shaping the youth to have a strong work ethic and be well rounded. Some of my fondest memories stem from within the halls of CBA, and I often wish to be able to once again attend Bible class on a daily basis. CBA provided a deep level of Biblical teaching that I have not experienced anywhere else since, and that is why I continue to joyfully support the school financially as a donor. Corn Bible Academy provides a service to western Oklahoma to which there is no alternative, and I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to attend this amazing school.
Not only did my wife and I have the privilege of graduating from CBA, but I was able to serve the school as a teacher and administrator for two years. This school has stood the test of time for almost 120 years. This school had stood the test of heart by sending out missionaries, teachers, evangelists, pastors, and God fearing believers for that same time period. But most importantly, this school has stood the test of truth, by speaking it into students for all those years. Those seeds of truth are still bearing fruit, 30 60 and 100 fold. Because of the this, I know the financial seeds we have planted in CBA are eternal and will continue to grow.
God will continue to bless Corn Bible Academy, and all those that partner with it.

I attended CBA from 7th grade to graduation. There is absolutely no where else I would have rather gone. The smaller student body allowed for more one on one time from teacher to student. I always knew my teachers cared about me as an individual. Even now, having been graduated for two years, I still communicate with several of my teachers and am always happy to see them.
I say that the school should be called Corn Bible and Leadership Academy. Because that’s what they prepare us for at CBA. To be leaders in our families and communities. The teachers not only do an excellent job of covering their subject material, but they also go past that. They teach lessons about life and working hard. To problem solve, think logically, and keep trying.
When I was at CBA, we used to say “in order for us to do things, everyone has to do everything.” Meaning, for example, that if we wanted to have a basketball team, most or all of the boys had to participate in some way in order for us to have enough players. If we wanted a functional student government, students from every grade had to participate and work hard for us to have awesome Homecomings or Banquets (Prom). Some might see this as a con to having such a small student body, but in reality, it’s a blessing that made us become well-rounded individuals with skills in various different activities.
The biblical education I received at CBA is invaluable. The Bible teachers do a superb job at teaching The Word in a way that comes alive to the students. The knowledge of biblical truths, principles and information that I gained at CBA is the foundation of the way I live my life. Truly, CBA is a place worthy of having “Bible” in its name.
“Thy precepts and thy teachings, and admonitions too, God bless them through the ages, and help us to be true! Hail our Alma Mater!... Corn Bible School and Academy, forever true!”
CBA has been such a blessing to our family. As Christian parents it was important to us to find a school where our children could be taught the same values that they are taught at home. CBA has been a perfect match for us. The school combines academic rigor with Biblical principles to enhance the whole child. For example, my children have been taught Biblical world views so they are prepared to defend their faith, but also have been challenged academically so they are well prepared for college. It is a place where teachers truly care and love your children. We couldn’t be happier.
Corn Bible Academy is life-changing in the truest sense. I am who I am because of the influence it had on my life.
My family and many others in the community and the extended region were changed because of the opportunities we had at CBA.
The educators, administrators, and staff are now my extended family. Their influence and the lessons I learned in my time as a student formed the person I am today.
My family has never been wealthy, but they were willing to sacrifice to give my siblings and myself a chance at attending Corn Bible Academy. My husband, who is also an alumnus, and I are making the same sacrifices so that our own children can attend. CBA itself helps us and other families as they are able.
We work with the school at every opportunity to ensure that other families, regardless of income level or ethnic background, can send their children to learn more about their faith and receive an excellent education.
CBA is a family. I've heard it from so many students and teachers, and I've experienced it myself. My life was changed by the people there and I thank God for them.
