Programs: Following corey's tragic passing on august 16th, 2014, the griffin family and close friends founded the corey c. Griffin charitable foundation, a nonprofit, grant-making organization. Given his incredible passion for life and uncommon dedication to philanthropy, it was not difficult to map out the guiding principles of the foundation: youth, faith and social entrepreneurship. Based on these pillars, the foundation aims to improve the lives of children through healthcare and education as well as support young men and women who share corey's passion for entrepreneurship. The foundation's current initiatives focus primarily on youth health and education and faith-based programs including: boston children's hospital, corey scholars, early angel fund and corey c. Griffin brain injury fund at children's hospital.
