Mission: We convene people and groups with conflicting views to build trust, identify solutions, and form alliances for action on critical national issues.
Results: At Convergence, we focus on solutions. We convene people and groups with conflicting views to identify specific actions that will make a lasting difference. We get there through structured, facilitated dialogue and long-term relationship building. Our process builds trust and understanding and shifts the focus from conflict to action. The products of our continuous effort throughout the life of a project include breakthrough coalitions working toward transformative action and a renewed sense of what is possible through shared goals and long-term cooperation. Current projects are focused on Education, Nutrition, Long-Term Care, and Economic Mobility.
Target demographics: alleviate needless suffering by delivering consensus-based solutions to our nation's greatest challenges.
Geographic areas served: Washington, DC to bring leaders and stakeholders together for dialogue leading to action on critical national issues.
Programs: organizing key stakeholders for dialogue leading to action on education, nutrition, long-term care, and economic mobility.
