Mission: To provide the best non-profit community service, dedicated to delivering professional and confidential counseling, debt management, housing counseling and consumer
Programs: Consumer credit counseling service of the savannah area, inc (cccs) is focused on the financial well-being and economic stability of individuals and families. In 2017, cccs provided services to 4,229 individuals and families through financial counseling and educational programs. 1,262 individuals and families were served through budget counseling, credit counseling, first-time homebuyer counseling, delinquent mortgage counseling, reverse mortgage counseling, bankruptcy counseling and mortgage assistance programs. Cccs additionally assisted families in the repayment of $1,997,016 to creditors on behalf of the families participating in a debt managment program. Cccs also provided 171 free financial literacy workshops and outreach programs, covering a wide array of financial topics which reached 2,967 individuals.
