Mission: Canar is the collective voice of many tribal nations that honors and empowers american indians and alaskan natives with disabilities through education and advocacy.
Programs: Tribal conference fees and expenses:conferences are held with tribes across the united states. These conferences are conducted to provide detail technical training and services to fellow tribal members with disabilities. These conferences address financial resources, excess annual balances from federal grants at the local tribe level, high risk programs, and newly funded programs. There are usually 2 annual conventions serving over (average) 85 tribes (vocational reahabilitation programs) and other partners. Canar, inc. Oversees seperate training and technical assistance onsite per the conferences and establishes contacts, meets different tribes changing leaders, and lays groundwork for and training for aivrs programs, regional training programs, webinars, and ta at both annual conferences. These expenses are included in program expenses on page 10 of form 990.
