Programs: Wildlife associates maintains a large piece of acreage as a wildlife sanctuary for its many animal inhabitants. Wildlife associates expends considerable resources on its habitat enclosures where the animals reside. The property requires constant oversight and monitoring. As people develop and expand into natural areas, vital wildlife habitats are destroyed and countless animals are left homeless and injured. Many of these animals can be nursed back to health, but would not survive if returned to their natural habitatsfor these animals, we use the term non-releasable. These non-releasable animals are

wildlife associates provides educational programs primarily geared toward children. The organization provides shelter,comfort and food for a variety of animals. Educational programs teach children about the delicate balance of nature and are conducted at schools throughout california. Wildlife associates pioneered educational programs where animals are the teachers as a powerful and effective way to help students and adults reconnect to the living world. We help teachers meet the essential california state science content standards. Wildlife associates provides over 1,000 educational programs and wildlife assemblies each year to both children and adults in northern california. Wildlife associates has only non-releasable wildlife and cares for these wonderful animals their entire lives at our large and accommodating wildlife sanctuary.
