Mission: The conrad foundation is a 501c3 organization dedicated to transforming the current methods of teaching science, technology, engineering and math (stem) to students ages 13-18. We promote contextual learning, innovation and entrepreneurship, and foster students' abilities to apply these skills to benefit humanity and to create a sustainable world for this and future generations. The foundation is the only organization of its kind to combine education, innovation and entrepreneurship to inspire real world solutions developed by students.
Programs: The conrad foundation spirit of innovation challenge (conrad challenge) brings together a dynamic community of innovators and entrepreneurs driving a collaborative movement to develope extraordinary and viable solutions to benefit our world in one of four areas: aerospace & aviation, cyber technology & security, energy & environment, and health & nutrition. The annual business and technical plan competition challenges teams of students ages 13-18 to combine innovation and entrepreneurship, along with stem (science, technology, engineering and math), to create commercially-viable products. The conrad challenge is free to all who wish to participate and reaches all socio-economic levels.
