Mission: To ease the financial burden for families of children with life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses or injuries, regardless of specific diagnosis. The vision of the organization is to provide families with those resources necessary to ensure uninterrupted access to medical care and treatment and to maintain a safe andappropriate in-home care environment through the distribution of direct andindirect financial assistance for a wide range of medical and non-medical out ofpocket care related expenses.
Programs: Conner's cause for children provides direct financial and in-kind assistance to over300 families in three southern california counties for a wide range of medical andnon-medical out of pocket expenses associated with the care of a medically fragilechild, including co-payments, special equipment, travel expenses and basic householdneeds. The mission of conner's cause is to provide families with needed resources forcontinued access to critical medical care, as well as safe and appropriate in-homecare.
