Mission: To identify and champion grassroots-based statewide initiatives that sustain communities through partnerships, projects and practices that build upon the strengths and potential for sustainable resource management for a resilient and vibrant future.
Programs: To coordinate programs in agriculture, rural economies, and conservation, in partnership with volunteers and professionals drawn from a variety of federal, state, regional, non-profit organizations and local agencies, to assist connecticut agriculture producers, conservationalists, land trusts, rural small businesses, students, and municipalities in fostering projects to promote sustainable long-term resource management and economic growth.
