Connected Nest provides invaluable resources throughout any of the ever changing stages of motherhood. Having had two babies during Covid, I was in a very lonely spot as a new mother. Finding this group and this community was such a blessing and provided such support that I didn't even know I needed at the time.
Connected Nest provides such a valuable resource to moms and families, including myself. I began attending one of their new moms groups when my son was about a month old and my mental health was instantly improved. Having a space for moms to share their stories, struggles, and successes and find that they are not alone is amazing and so helpful postpartum. I continued to attend group until my maternity leave was done and then moved to virtual groups. I’ve continued to be involved with the group and watch it grow and provide even more important services to the community from infertility support, continued support of new moms, care packages for NICU moms, classes and webinars for parents, community events, gatherings for moms with special needs children, and even social events like a book club, craft night, and moms nights out. I am now expecting my second child (and attending virtual expecting moms calls) and am so incredibly thankful I have this group for continued support through my motherhood journey.
Life changing support for women going through infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and toddlerhood. Best groups to attend for advice; camaraderie; information about community services/supports; and making friends going through the same stage of life as you. Everyone is welcome there with open arms, you can come as you are.
This organization saved me during my postpartum period! I was experiencing PPD and PPA and joining this group helped give me the support and guidance I needed to get better. The virtual options also allowed me to continue to participate when I went back to work after maternity leave. So thankful for the support and connects the group has provided over the past three years for me.
I started attending new moms group through connected nest (then empowering moms), 5weeks postpartum. It was the best thing for my mental and emotional health to connect with other moms with babies the exact same age going through the exact same things. After my first week it was something I looked forward to every week and greatly benefitted from.
After returning to work I started weekly moms walks that spanned the summer/fall and eventually became a board member because the organization meant so much to me.
