Mission: Computers For Seniors was established after a trial program in a nursing home. Computers were set up on nursing floors and in an activity room. Volunteers provide regular weekly classes in basic computer operation to the residents allowing the residents to communicate by E-mail with friends and relatives. Games and surfing the Internet are also taught. A new project teaches scanning pictures, building slide show programs and making CD's. The Computers For Seniors program has been extremely successful and we now have expanded our program to other nursing homes.
