Mission: Compulsive Gambling Center,Inc. a Maryland, not-for-profit organization is now doing business as Gambling Prevention Awareness (GPA) in Ohio. The overall mission of GPA is to provide education about problem gambling through the personal message delivered by a recovering compulsive gambler. This organization is disbanding as of 12/31/2010. Its founder will continue to be involved in larger, like-minded organizations that strive to prevent problem gambling and assist problem gamblers and their families in their battle to overcome this addiction. All remaining funds are donated to Maryhaven''s problem gambling prevention and treatment program, a not-for-profit organization in Columbus, Ohio.
Programs: Services include education to increase awarenss about problem gambling and referral for those who seek help.
