Causes: Health, Reproductive Health Care, Reproductive Rights
Mission: To develop and administer programs designed to assist women in confronting and dealing with the physical, emotional, economic, social and spiritual problems associated with crisis and unwanted pregnancy; and to develop and administer programs designed to assist pregnant women who desire to carry their unborn children to term.
Programs: Provided free of charge: self-administered pregnancy test kits, information on pregnancy and childbirth, referrals to medical and social services, information on adoption, contraception, abstinence, and peer counseling to women and girls, their families and/or partners. In 2016 the compassion pregnancy center and clinic of the monterey bay counseled 143 clients, and provided medical services for 26 patients.
