Programs: C-snip prevents the overpopulation of dogs and cats by providing quality, reduced cost spay and neuter surgery for those who are unable to afford or access other veterinary care in their community. Since 2001, c-snip has successfully completed 155,206 spay/neuter surgeries. In 2017, 10472 dogs and cats were spayed/neutered by c-snip. 90% were privately owned and 10% were brought to us by our rescue and shelter partners. Cats accounted for 61% of our surgeries and dogs were 39%. These surgical services are designed to prevent the abuse, abandonment, and suffering of companion animals that results from their overpopulation.
