Mission: To respond to the increasing threat to the american jewish community through a series of programs to secure the community's facilities and institutions. All of these activities are conducted on an apolitical, non-denominational basis and are coordinated with the police and the organized jewish community.
Programs: Hired first executive director and west coast manager.
expanded to a new region and began operations, increased the number of volunteers trained and added new partner institutions.
provided security for hundreds of events, gatherings, and celebrations - including a gala for 5,500 attendees in new york city and the national menorah lighting for 4,500 attendees in washington dc. This security was provided free of charge and benefited hundreds of thousands of attendees across all denominations in the jewish community.
