Programs: Energy assistance programs: crt's energy assistance program provides assistance to low income families to help with home heating costs. Crt's weatherization program provides low income families with assistance in making their homes more energy efficient in an effort to help reduce their monthly utility costs. During fiscal year 2016, crt provided energy assistance to 24,509 families and provided weatherization assistance to 2,677 families.
children programs: crt's early childhood education preschool services are comprised of early headstart, headstart, child day care, infant and toddler, and school readiness programs and provide the foundation for children from low-income families to have healthy and productive lives. During fiscal year 2016, crt's funded enrollment was 1,247 children and their families.
housing and shelter services: crt's housing and shelter services provide a variety of services to individuals and families ranging from helping people who have been homeless get a safe place to live while developing employment and life learning skills, to providing a safe haven in emergency shelters, supportive, permanent and transitional housing, assisted living and elderly housing and providing assistance in tenant-landlord disputes. During fiscal year 2016, crt provided assistance to 6,579 families/individuals.
