Mission: The mision of the community race relations coalition is to sustain dialogue in order to raise awareness on issues of race and ethnicity in the greater waco area. The association strives to and to inspire, recognize, and support collaborative strategies that promote racial and ethnic equity, harmony, and understanding in our community.
Programs: Promote unity among various faiths - individuals embedding themselves in various churches with civil rights tour, reflecting on lessons learned, to be documented on film.
recognize & support collaborative strategies - grants to organizations which enhance race relations.
promote racial & cultural awareness & dialogue - quarterly and annual meetings, discussion forums, diversity training workshops, sponsorship of cultural programs, recognition of model citizens.
