On August 25, 2015, CPPI completed 10 years of service to Henderson County, NC. We have spay or neutered as of today 10/1/2015 19,609 pets at a cost of $1,811,770.42.
CPPI is the only 100% Spay/Neuter organization in Henderson County, NC We have reduced the intake to our county shelter the last 3 years by 36.3%. We have reduced euthanasia at the shelter by 47.5%. Our county shelter is a kill shelter.
The intake of the shelter based on current people population increases would have been over 4,400 pets entering the shelter if it were not for the 19,609 spay and neuters done. The intake to the shelter as of 12/31/2014 was only 2,392 pets. We are currently experiencing actual reductions this year, 2015.
As statistics do not lie - Spay and Neuter is the only answer to pet over-population and intake into the county shelter. We cannot adopt our way out of pet over-population.
CPPI has no compensated Staff or Officers and all the overhead is paid outside CPPI by the Founders.
All our IRS 990's are completed on time and are available upon request on (cpforpetsinc@aol.com). Any information other then our 990's please email a request to the email address. The 990's are also on Guidestar.org for review with additional financial data and program information.

We (Mary and Mike Cervini) founded Community Partnership for Pets, Inc(CPPI) in August 2005. We are a 501C3 Non-profit, and have filed all our 990's with the IRS on time Yearly. We have Spayed and Neutered to date over 5,000 pets and have given free Rabies to over 3,600 of the same pets. Each year we have incresed our spay/neuter numbers and 2010 we will do 2,000 plus and 2011, our plan is to do over 2,200. We do not turn away anyone due to finacnial reasons.
