Mission: To provide access to justice through high quality legal assistance to low income persons.
Programs: The organization provides free legal services to low income persons and the disabled in 12 central florida counties. Clsmf's staff and pro bono attorneys provided legal assistance to 24,493 people in 2014. Services included preventing homelessness by representing tenant evictions and mortgagers in foreclosure, helping consumers who are victims of mortgage rescue scams, predatory lending, home repair ripoffs, helping the disabled retain any disability and medical benefits, ensuring that all children obtain appropriate school education and maintain their civil rights, and assisting domestic violence victims obtain protective orders, child custody and support. During 2014 the organization opened 10,055 cases and closed 9,892 cases.
